Pregnancy, Birth and Beyond
Pregnancy is a very special time with not only physical but huge emotional changes as well. Pregnancy yoga supports women through their pregnancy with a range of techniques that can alleviate common pregnancy related conditions as well as being applicable to labour and birth and beyond into motherhood.
My classes are suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners, the aim being to help women enjoy their pregnancy with minimal discomfort, cultivate breath awareness and strengthen the body. Yoga is a great opportunity to connect with your baby, deeply relax and learn techniques you can use during your pregnancy, birth and beyond. Classes are kept deliberately small so that I can get to know all of the ladies and they can get to know each other and feel part of a community of other women enjoying the same life-changing journey – often the starting place for deep friendships.
As a mum of a young daughter I know how tough motherhood can be sometimes, but I also know that having a baby is hands down the absolute best thing that I have ever done and teaching pregnancy yoga means that I am utterly privileged to be able to share this journey time and time again.
